Tri-Boro Tots, Inc. adamantly refuses to participate in any mommy wars. First of all, Tri-Boro Tots, Inc was founded in part because there was such a dramatic shift in the need for working parents during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic parents of small children were more isolated than ever before. Many parents who would have garnered support from their work community were working from home and not getting the same supportive watercooler chat on how to navigate parenthood that they may have gotten before the pandemic. The shift towards working at home created new social and logistical needs right here in our community. More than ever, parents in the early years need the local community. We also know that whether a parent is at-home or employed full-time outside the home, the greatest benefits to children come from parents who are committed to spending quality time nurturing their children, gathering the tools and information to make educated and informed decisions, utilizing the resources available to them and building support systems.
